Richard Gomer is a senior research assistant in the Agents, Interaction and Complexity research group at the University of Southampton. His research interests include the design and evaluation of user interfaces that give people greater understanding and control of the technology that mediates their lives. He works primarily on the Meaningful Consent in the Digital Economy research project, which works to understand and operationalise the role of consent in a data protection context.
