Richard Beaumont is responsible for developing online privacy products and services for software company Governor Technology. Involved in technology for over 20 years, his journey into privacy began in 2011 when Governor set up the Cookie Collective (www.cookielaw.org) to help companies comply with the emerging EU Cookie Directive. The company also developed Cookiepedia (www.cookiepedia.co.uk), an information resource dedicated to greater transparency about online tracking.
