About the IAPP

Jessica Vaianisi, B.A., MES, J.D., CIPP/C is Senior Legal Counsel and Privacy Officer at Think Research Corporation, and is responsible for privacy, data protection and information management matters within the organization. She has extensive experience in both public and private sectors advising on a wide range of privacy compliance initiatives within the health tech industry in North America. Jessica was also a member of the Canadian Advisory Committee on the General Data Protection Regulation (CAC-GDPR) established by the Standards Council of Canada.

Prior to joining Think Research, Jessica was a senior member of the Privacy Office at eHealth Ontario (now Ontario Health) and was responsible for managing privacy program initiatives in South West Ontario and the Northern and Eastern regions. During her time at eHealth Ontario, Jessica was also a part of the provincial ConnectingPrivacy Committee (CPC).

Jessica is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional in Canada (CIPP/C) with the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
