Ghita Harris-Newton is the Chief Privacy Officer & Deputy General Counsel at Quantcast. She is an expert in US and EU privacy and an industry veteran, with over 18 years of legal experience in technology, media, litigation and consumer protection. She holds CIPP/US and CIPP/E certifications, graduated from Georgetown Law Center magna cum laude, and is active in industry organizations including on the NAI Board of Directors, Future of Privacy Forum Advisory Board, IAB Europe GDPR Implementation Working Group, and IAB UK Data & Privacy Subgroup. Prior to joining Quantcast, Ghita led the privacy program at Yahoo, as Assistant General Counsel and Head of Global Privacy Law and Privacy Policy.
