Privacy Program Manager

Andrew McDevitt is a global data privacy subject matter expert with deep knowledge and interest in leading initiatives to implement, promote, and support effective data privacy compliance and risk management programs. Since early 2017, he has served as a Senior Principal Privacy Analyst in Northrop Grumman Corporation’s Global Privacy Office to help assess and mitigate privacy risks associated to IT projects deployed and used by its worldwide aerospace and defense centric workforce.



Andrew has earned IAPP’s CIPM, CIPP/E, CIPP/G, and CIPP/US certifications and holds the Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) designation. He is also a Certified Third Party Risk Professional (CTPRP) through the Shared Assessments organization. He has previously held privacy compliance consulting roles within AvePoint and TrustArc serving diverse customers with international operations.



Prior to entering the privacy profession full-time in 2013, Andrew served 17-years in multiple U.S. government affairs roles working within the business process outsourcing and software industry as a public policy SME in the areas of HR/employee management, employee data privacy, electronic payments, payroll and tax administration, small business accounting as well as information reporting to government authorities. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from California State University – East Bay.
