About the IAPP

A Pharmacist licensed in three states Andy has spent over 35 years working in Retail Pharmacy in a variety of positions including store, field, and corporate leadership roles. Throughout his Rite Aid career Andy has worked in corporate roles in the accounting department, loss prevention, and compliance. Currently the Chief Privacy Officer for Rite Aid Corporation he has also held previous leadership roles that included compliance and internal audit. A 1989 graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy Andy is passionate about the Pharmacy profession and the value pharmacy brings to healthcare. Andy is proud to be a member of the American Society for Pharmacy Law, The Society for Corporate Compliance and Ethics, The Healthcare Compliance Association, and the International Association of Privacy Professionals. He holds certifications in Compliance and Ethics as well as being a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP-US).
