About the IAPP

Emmanuelle leads Luminate Strategic Initiatives’ litigation work which supports those who challenge unlawful data practices and seek remedies for Big Tech's harms to people and society. 

Luminate is a global foundation working to ensure that everyone – especially those who are underrepresented – has the information, rights, and power to influence the decisions that shape society. Luminate’s Strategic Initiatives team focuses on addressing global digital threats through policy change, campaigns, partnerships, and litigation. 

Prior to joining Luminate, Emmanuelle was Senior Legal and Policy Officer with Fair Trials where she focused on criminal justice reform in Europe. She has also practiced as a litigator and criminal defense lawyer in Paris, Boston, and Brussels.
