About the IAPP

Andrea Corlett is the Director of Communications at the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario. Since joining the IPC in 2016, Andrea has led a team responsible for developing innovative communication strategies to help advance the IPC’s efforts to uphold Ontarians’ access and privacy rights.

As a communications professional with over 25 years of experience, Andrea has held senior communications positions in the public sector, including at the Ontario ministries of Municipal Affairs and Housing, Northern Development and Mines, and Training, Colleges and Universities. She has been a member of the Canadian Public Relations Society since 2001.
