About the IAPP

Ben is a Managing Director in FTI Consulting’s Sydney office, where he leads the Corporate Reputation and Public Affairs team. With over twenty-five years’ experience in media, political, corporate and advisory roles, Ben works with clients on complex communication tasks including crisis and issues management, reputation management, public affairs and industry advocacy. 

He is a trusted advisor to clients facing business critical issues including regulatory change, litigation and investigations, reputational challenges and operational crisis events. 

Before joining FTI Consulting, Ben held executive and general management roles in the utilities industry with responsibility for corporate communications, public affairs, brand and marketing, strategic planning and information technology. Ben has also worked as a political advisor, and as a radio journalist, news editor and communications tutor.
