Mrs. Renée Dekker, LLM holds a master's degree in Health Law from the University of Amsterdam. Renée specializes in health law and more particularly at the cutting edge of exponential technologies in healthcare. She is working as an academic lawyer at the Department of Governance & Technology for Sustainability, at the University of Twente and is lecturing two courses in health law for the education program of the Bachelor Technical Medicine. Additionally, Renée is an external PhD candidate with the University of Twente. Her research focuses on the legal governance of emerging technologies in healthcare from a human rights perspective.



Renée works from this background also as a legal advisor for Hooghiemstra & Partners and provides strategic and legal advice within her field of expertise in health law on the cutting edge with privacy law.
