Sean McEachern is an experienced professional currently serving as the Manager of Governance, Privacy, and Insurance at Saskatchewan Polytechnic where he is responsible for the development, management and oversight of institution-wide governance policies, privacy compliance and insurance.

Prior to joining Saskatchewan Polytechnic, he worked with the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe’s Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine serving as the Executive Officer to both the Acting Head of Mission and the Deputy Chief Monitor. With a background in policy and communications, he spent several years with the Saskatchewan Urban Municipalities Association as Director of Policy and Communications and as a Senior Policy Advisor. He also served as a Special Assistant to the Hon. Ralph Goodale, Canada’s Minister of Finance from 2003 to 2006.

Sean holds a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree from the University of Regina, is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (Canada) and is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors and possess the ICD designation.
