About the IAPP

Andrew Drummond joined the Ontario IPC in 2022 as Director of Health Policy. Previously, he had worked at the Ontario Ministry of Health in the Information Management Strategy and Policy Branch, which had primary carriage of Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA). At IMSP, he worked on numerous PHIPA legislative and regulatory amendments over several years. Prior to that, he worked at the University of Toronto at the Munk School of Global Affairs, the Faculty of Information, and the Office of the Governing Council.
