About the IAPP

Pal is a Global Privacy Director (EU, UK, US) and former Data Protection Officer at Booking Holdings Financial Services (BHFS), part of Booking Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: BKNG), the world’s leading provider of online travel and related services, through five primary consumer-facing brands: Booking.com, Priceline, Agoda, KAYAK and OpenTable.

Pal is a practising solicitor in England and Wales and a non-practising attorney in Hungary. He has over 20 years' experience advising on privacy, data protection and technology law issues and corporate/M&A and commercial transactions. He is based in London. He holds an LL.M. degree from the Ludwig Maximilians University (Munich, Germany) and graduated from the Kellogg-WHU Executive MBA program.

Prior to joining BHFS, he has worked in various legal roles at Invesco, BT and in private practice, in the UK, Germany and Hungary.
