Matthew Reisman

Matthew Reisman is Director of Privacy and Data Policy in the Centre for Information Policy Leadership’s Washington, DC office, where he is working to advance responsible approaches to privacy, data protection, data governance, and artificial intelligence. Previously, Matthew was a Director of Global Privacy Policy at Microsoft, where he helped shape the company’s advocacy on privacy and data policy, including intersections with security, digital safety, trade, and cross-border data flows. Matthew previously led research on the digital economy at the United States International Trade Commission. He also serves on the Strategic Council of the Silverado Policy Accelerator.
