About the IAPP

I am Marcela Jaimes lawyer from the Faculty of Law of Universidad de los Andes (Bogotá, Colombia). She has a specialization degree in Legal Innovation from Universidad Externado de Colombia (Bogotá, Colombia). With a Master’s in Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law (LL.M.), focusing on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and blockchain at Trinity College Dublin. In 2022, she became a member of the Global Chief Privacy Office of Citibank S.A., where she advised on privacy matters, and implementation of data privacy programs, according to regulatory requirements.
