About the IAPP

Ryan Rogers is a Staff Software Engineer in the Data Science Applied Research team at LinkedIn where he works on designing and implementing private algorithms and systems for data analytics and machine learning tasks. Prior to joining LinkedIn, he worked in the ML privacy team at Apple where he was the technical lead on developing the algorithms for the private federated learning project. He received his PhD in Applied Mathematics and Computational Sciences from the University of Pennsylvania where he was advised by Aaron Roth and Michael Kearns.
