About the IAPP

Caitlin is the Vice President, Enterprise Compliance and Global Privacy, and Chief Privacy Officer, at RBC. In this role, she leads a global team of privacy and compliance officers, supporting RBC’s businesses to ensure client and employee privacy is protected. She also leads the strategic direction and oversight of RBC’s regulatory compliance management program.

Before joining RBC, Caitlin held senior legal and managerial roles with financial services regulators in the United Kingdom and Australia. Caitlin was admitted to practice as a lawyer in Australia in 2011 and was called to the bar in Canada in 2023. She is a Certified International Privacy Professional (CIPP/C) and joined the IAPP’s Canadian Advisory Board in 2023
