About the IAPP

Caitlin is RBC’s Chief Privacy Officer, leading a global team of privacy and data protection officers, supporting RBC’s businesses to ensure client and employee privacy is protected.

Before joining RBC, Caitlin practised as an Australian regulatory lawyer and held senior legal and managerial roles with financial services regulators in the United Kingdom and Australia. In addition to her Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and call to the bar in Australia in 2011, Caitlin expects to be called to the bar in Canada in 2023. Caitlin is a Certified International Privacy Professional (CIPP/C) and joined the IAPP’s Canadian Advisory Board in 2023
