Amy Gajda, a former journalist, is the Class of 1937 Professor of Law at Tulane University Law School. In her scholarship work and latest book “Seek and Hide: The Tangled History of the Right to Privacy” (Viking 2022), Gajda explores the tensions between privacy interests and First Amendment values. Gajda is a former chair of the Association of American Law Schools’ Section on Defamation and Privacy and the Section on Communication, Media and Information Law. She currently serves as an Advisor to the American Law Institute on its new Restatement on Defamation and Privacy.
