Hope Anderson
Hope Anderson is a Partner in the Data, Privacy & Cybersecurity practice in the Los Angeles office of White & Case LLP and a member of the firm’s Global Technology Industry Group. She has extensive experience advising on all aspects of privacy, and is a thought leader on Generative AI, providing advice on the legal implications and practical applications of the technology. Clients benefit from Hope's deep experience with data privacy and regulatory compliance matters, and she regularly advises engineering and business teams on the implementation of protocols and controls in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) and other data protection regulations, including expanding state privacy laws. In addition to Gen AI, Hope also advises on privacy by design, AR/VR, biometrics, analytics, and issues implicating e-commerce, consumer protection, and marketing and advertising laws. She serves on the Advisory Board of the Future of Privacy Forum and is a frequent writer and speaker on privacy issues. Prior to joining White & Case, Hope served as Associate General Counsel, Product and Privacy, at Snap Inc.
