Ken Katayama
Ken Katayama is a Policy Evangelist and has been with Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) since June 2021. Ken’s role is to work with the government, academia and industry on digital policy issues such as Cybersecurity, Responsible AI, Privacy, Data Utilization and Cross Border Data Flows.
Ken is a member of the National Police Agency-Cybersecurity Policy Committee. He also has roles in Japanese industry organizations such as the Keidanren (Japan Business Federation) , Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA), and the Digital Economic Policy Committee of Business at OECD (BIAC) .
He is also a Guest Member of the Keio University Global Research Institute (KGRI) as well as an Executive Committee member of the British Chamber of Commerce in Japan (BCCJ).
Before TMC, Ken was at Microsoft for over 14 years. He was also active in many government and industry committees.
