About the IAPP

Mikołaj Ostoja-Ciemny is an attorney trainee at the District Bar Council in Warsaw. He gained his previous experience in teams focused on digital transformation, new technology law and personal data protection at a renowned Polish law firm. He graduated with honors from the University of Warsaw Law Faculty and studied also at the University of Lisbon. Mikołaj specializes in advising on data protection, privacy and new technologies law, including IT contracts. He has participated in IT implementations (including cloud computing) in regulated sectors, implementations of EU Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requirements and advised on the compliance of personal data processing with applicable laws. He has experience in conducting workshops on copyright law and agile project management.
