About the IAPP

Sarah Leathwood is Global Privacy Lead for Danaher's Life Sciences Platform, a global science and technology innovator committed to helping customers solve complex challenges and improving quality of life around the world. Producing advanced filtration, separation and purification technologies, which power the creation of biopharmaceuticals, microelectronics and more globally. Sarah grows and supports the Company’s strategy to ensure they are continually updating and refining their privacy program to keep ahead of the ever-changing privacy laws on a global basis. In furtherance of this, Sarah has experience of safeguarding personal data under legislation including but not limited to the CCPA, HIPAA, GDPR and PIPEDA and partnering closely with internal and external stakeholders to adopt, adapt and oversee the Company’s established privacy program. Sarah has over 13 years of healthcare experience coupled with a lengthy legal and compliance career following being called to the UK Bar in 2008.
