Irena Koleva, CIPP/E
Irena holds Master's degree in Law (Sofia University, Bulgaria) and is Attorney-at-law registered with Sofia Bar Association. She is Senior Associate in Deloitte Legal Law Firm with more than 7 years of experience. Her main practice areas include data protection, labor law, commercial law and consumer protection. She has taken part in a large number of due diligence projects, advisory and compliance engagements for local and multinational companies in different business and cross-border situations.
Irena has been working in the field of privacy and data protection since 2017. She has extensive experience in GDPR gap analysis and implementation. She has assisted clients with drafting documentation and taking appropriate actions for compliance with GDPR requirements, as well as conducting staff trainings.
She has been a presenter at personal data protection events and is regularly writing articles and updates on data protection law and practice for Deloitte Legal Newsletter and Bulgarian media.
