Nicole Sakin
Nicole Sakin is a 2020 graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law, where she graduated with a Certificate in Cybersecurity and Crisis Management Law. At Maryland Law, Nicole was a notes and comments editor for the Journal of Business and Technology Law, a writing fellow, and a research assistant for Professor Frank Pasquale.
Nicole became interested in privacy law both through her undergraduate Journalism coursework and through her experience working in the advertising technology industry. While at Maryland Law, Nicole explored privacy law through a summer internship with the Electronic Privacy Information Center, a summer internship with the Baltimore-based law firm Whiteford, Taylor & Preston, and a yearlong internship with the privacy team at Under Armour. She earned her undergraduate degree in Journalism and French at the University of Maryland, College Park.
