About the IAPP

Guilherme Peretti is an associate director of privacy and data protection at Organon LLC, where he is responsible for overseeing privacy compliance and advancing AI governance initiatives. In addition to his role at Organon, Peretti serves as the co-chair for the Latin America & Canada Roundtable of the International Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Privacy Consortium for the 2024-2025 term and is a member of the IAPP's Publication Advisory Board, 2023-2024. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Laws and a specialist degree in Economic and International Law from Universidade Estadual de Londrina, alongside a specialization in New Technologies and Intellectual Property Law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas. He is a certified AI Governance Professional, Certified Information Privacy Professional, Certified Data Protection Officer Brazil, Certified Information Privacy Manager, and a Fellow of Information Privacy.
