John frequently advises leading technology companies on emerging domestic and international data privacy regulations, as well as in connection with data breach responses and ransomware situations. He helps clients identify strategies and create solutions to issues arising from the intersection of new technologies and established regulatory frameworks. John provides proactive counseling, including compliance audits, the development of data breach response plans and related crisis management strategy pertaining to cybersecurity and ransomware risks. A CIPP/US certified information privacy professional, he regularly provides advice to clients regarding:

He has successfully represented clients in a range of litigation including contractual and supply chain disputes, unfair competition, creditors’ rights, securities disputes and administrative actions. John’s litigation background includes bringing cases to summary judgment, trial and courts of appeal in state and federal courts throughout the country.
