About the IAPP

Kenny is Data Protection Officer at VinFast Canada, an electric car manufacturer. He is responsible for leading, driving, and executing the company’s privacy and personal information governance strategies, policies, procedures, and programs to ensure, promote and drive best practices and compliance throughout the organization, as well as, driving its privacy culture. Prior to this experience, Kenny worked as a privacy and cybersecurity lawyer in a major Canadian law firm and occupied several privacy-compliance functions in a Canadian financial group. 

Kenny holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the Université de Sherbrooke, as well as a graduate diploma in business law and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Université Laval.
