About the IAPP

Adam Schlosser is the founder of Bay Regulatory Strategy, where he provides strategic legal and regulatory compliance advice, risk analysis, and due diligence to companies and organizations in all sectors, with an emphasis on issues related to data protection. He focuses most frequently on building data privacy programs for products and services that rely on emerging tech, including AI and blockchain. Adam has also advised numerous governments on the development of data privacy legal and policy issues, including working closely with the U.S., EU, Japan, and Brazil, and participated in APEC CBPR and PRP discussions. He has served as a Presidential Management Fellow, represented the U.S. government on regulatory matters and international negotiations, helped launch a data policy and data flows programs with the World Economic Forum, and worked for several private sector companies. He is a member of the California bar and CIPP/US and CIPP/E certified.
