About the IAPP

Winston Xu is a seasoned product privacy and risk management leader with over a decade of experience driving compliance strategies at some of the world’s leading technology companies, including Meta, Amazon, and Microsoft. He currently heads the Privacy Product Management team at Ford Motor Company.

At Meta and Microsoft, Winston spearheaded organization-wide privacy initiatives, partnering across divisions to ensure regulatory compliance and embed privacy by design into product development. At Amazon, he led global compliance teams focused on risk mitigation and enforcement related to illicit activity across the platform. 

Throughout his career, Winston has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing privacy governance and regulatory compliance within fast-paced, innovative product environments.
