About the IAPP

Federico is an experienced and highly qualified EU and UK lawyer, specializing in Cyber-Security and Data Protection laws. He has two J.D.s in International Business Law, an LL.M. in Corporate Law, and is certified by the ICA - International Compliance Association, IAPP CIPP/E, and OneTrust Fellow of Privacy Technology. He is also listed in the Pool of Experts of the European Data Protection Board. His interest in Tech Law began when he worked for a Cloud-IT specialist law firm in Milan – Italy, and then he decided to pursue a career in international Tech law by moving to London and working with larger clients on Privacy matters. Currently, Federico serves as Global Director - Privacy Counsel for IHG – Hotels and Resorts, overseeing the global privacy program, negotiating commercial agreements, and advising operational teams and hotels in EMEAA and JAPAC. He is known in the Risk Team for developing a Legal by Design culture for internal Privacy and Data Protection matters. Additionally, Federico collaborates with the IAPP as Section Leader.
