About the IAPP

Rebecca Bonnevie comes to the IAPP ANZ Advisory Board with experience in privacy risk and compliance at a financial institution. After working for a number of years in private practice and regulatory affairs, Rebecca was awarded Fulbright and Yvonne A M Smith Scholarships to attend Columbia University in the City of New York and complete a LLM focused on technology and security issues. Rebecca's special interests are in the edges of privacy law - where exponential technologies result in privacy law and policy struggling to keep up. Rebecca is admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand and is fluent in French.
