Don Reeve

Don Reeve, Associate General Counsel, Meta, and Adjunct Professor of European and California Privacy and Security Laws at Loyola Law School
Don Reeve teaches the European and California Privacy and Security Law courses at Loyola Law School and is Associate General Counsel in the Ads Monetization group at Meta where he advises the company’s ads monetization teams on advertising and marketing technology and services, partnerships, product development, and compliance, risk exposure, and risk positioning with global privacy and data protection laws and regulations and third-party terms and policies.
Don previously served as Director and Senior Counsel at Mattel, leading their global privacy program. Over the course of his legal career Don has also performed various executive legal and senior counsel roles providing privacy, product, digital marketing and advertising, and technology advice for Snap, Sony Pictures, ZipRecruiter, and Toyota.
Don is also a degreed meteorologist and before pursuing a legal career, worked as a broadcaster serving as an on-camera meteorologist and reporter for several local television and radio stations in the eastern United States where he chased tornadoes and hurricanes as part of this work.
