About the IAPP

Hung-Yu (Andy) Chi is the Senior Privacy Counsel (New York qualified) for Hertz group. He covers EMEA and APAC regions and advises on all aspects of data protection/InfoSec matters (Sales, Marketing, Procurement/IT/SaaS, Franchise, Partnership, Customer Service, HR and EV development etc.). He also manages the groups’ privacy compliance framework and co-leads the implementation of Hertz’s global data privacy compliance automation program. Before joining Hertz, Andy held a similar function for a multinational IoT giant and had substantial experiences in financial service sectors advising on financial regulations and AML compliance aside from privacy.
