Jigisha is a governance and risk leader with over two decades of professional expertise in audit, compliance, and risk management. She has a proven history of accelerating teams through transformations in both financial services and healthcare with a focus on the customer, establishing business value, execution efficiencies, and risk management; she thrives in fast-paced and continually evolving environments.



Currently, she leads a team with oversight of the Enterprise Privacy program as the Privacy Compliance Senior Director at Ally Financial, providing guidance and effective challenge across the enterprise on privacy risks. Her role provides privacy compliance and risk management oversight to further mature Ally’s Privacy program in line with industry best practices and frequently provides regulators with visibility into the Privacy program. Her team works closely with enterprise stakeholders (product management, marketing, information technology, security, digital, and business lines, etc.) to incorporate privacy-by-design principles that ensure Ally products comply with privacy requirements and industry best practices. Jigisha received Ally’s highest honor, the LEAD Award, in 2023 in recognition of emerging as a Privacy leader within the enterprise and the industry.



Throughout her tenure at Ally, Jigisha has demonstrated an innate ability to lead and adapt successfully to change, with an unwavering commitment to teammates and customers. Jigisha is heavily involved in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) efforts across Ally; she is the Culture Champion for Privacy Compliance, helping to support the development of compliance teammates. She also has a strong passion for developing women leaders and is a National Lead for the Asian Middle Eastern Employee Resource Group, with a focus on providing career advancement support for diverse talent within Ally. 



Jigisha is passionate about data privacy and is heavily engaged with the privacy community through industry group participation (e,g,BPI, ABA, SIFMA), membership in the Data Privacy Board, and as the Detroit KnowledgeNet Chapter Chair through the International Association of Privacy Professionals. She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM).



Prior to joining Ally, Jigisha spent fifteen years in external and internal audit. She is a Certified Public Accountant with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Georgia, and a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Virginia. 



Outside of work, she is a firm believer in the power of volunteerism and being a good citizen of the world. She has volunteered with various organizations by using her professional experience and background to give back to the community. She is currently a mentor and an ambassador board member of the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. Jigisha is also a Girl Scouts Troop Leader, having established a Girl Scouts troop at her daughter’s school.   



In support of developing others and paying-it-forward, Jigisha is a founding member and the Committee Chair for Executive Women’s Forum (EWF)’s Ascending Leaders committee. She also serves as a mentor in EWF’s Lift Mentoring program and in University of Georgia’s mentoring program as an alumni mentor.  



She is based in Detroit and enjoys being a mom to two girls, the outdoors, and Peloton workouts.
