About the IAPP

Jonathan is the Head of Legal, Global Product and Engineering Privacy at TikTok, and leads a team of privacy counsel and professionals supporting product and engineering teams globally. He has guided the development and implementation of a wide variety of strategic privacy initiatives, spanning privacy by design, data governance, data sovereignty, minor privacy and safety, and AI governance. He has experience counseling clients across the technology industry, previously serving as in-house counsel at Adobe and Amazon.com. Before going in-house, Jonathan was an associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett.
