About the IAPP

As in-house legal counsel, Jade du Preez is regularly engaged in matters concerning privacy compliance and data governance. She holds a particular interest in unravelling the ethical and practical challenges posed by new technologies and changing social norms with respect to data sharing. du Preez was a Young Privacy Professional with the IAPP Auckland Chapter in 2023. She gained CIPT certification in 2021.
