About the IAPP

Adam McCormick is a Chief Technologist at Booz Allen Hamilton specializing in data privacy, data governance, and data management consulting. Adam has led teams at several U.S. Government agencies developing data privacy, data sharing, data ethics, data management, and source code management policies. Beyond drafting and implementing data related policies, Adam has also developed and overseen privacy and cybersecurity programs for enterprise data platforms and wearable technologies, including smart watches and textiles.

Prior to joining Booz Allen, Adam worked as a litigation attorney in private practice. He became interested in the intersection of law and emerging technology after handling a data breach case for a client. In 2019 Adam received an LL.M in Cybersecurity Law and Policy from the University of Maryland, Carey School of Law.
