About the IAPP

Lauren has over 15 years’ experience facilitating successful risk management and compliance programs across several organizations. Lauren currently serves as Fusion’s Solution Manager in compliance and risk areas. In her role, Lauren advises Fusion’s product and executive leadership team on industry wide best practices, compliance and privacy program development, sustainability and ESG program design. Lauren joined Fusion from Grant Thornton where she successfully led efforts to stand-up the firm’s privacy program. Prior accomplishments include laying the framework for Tenneco’s award-winning compliance program. Lauren began her career as a claims adjuster who handled directors & officers, employment practices liability and financial institution risk products. She holds a master’s in Labor and Employment Relations from Rutgers University and a BA in Communications from The George Washington University. She holds the following certifications: CCEP (Compliance Certification Board) and CIPM (IAPP).
