Chief Privacy Officer

Shoshana Gillers serves as TransUnion’s Chief Privacy Officer and leads the global privacy legal and privacy operations teams. She oversees compliance with privacy laws across TransUnion’s global footprint and promotes a culture of responsible data stewardship. Shana joined TransUnion in 2019.  



Prior to joining TransUnion, Shana served as a data privacy attorney at a Fortune 50 global financial services firm, as a federal prosecutor, and as a litigator with a leading international law firm.  



Shana speaks regularly on privacy and related subjects. Shana has spoken on panels hosted by the American Bar Association, the Future of Privacy Forum, and the Practicing Law Institute.



Shana serves on the Board of Trustees of Marsico Capital Management, and is a member of the Future of Privacy Forum Advisory Board. Shana received a B.A. from Columbia University, summa cum laude, and a J.D. from Yale Law School.
