Tamara is a Senior Manager at INQ Consulting and an Associate at INQ Law where she focuses on data privacy. She applies her knowledge of privacy governance, policy, operational development and risk assessment to technology acquisitions and program implementations. Tamara lectures as an associate professor at Dalhousie University’s Schulich School of law where she teaches privacy law. Tamara’s legal, policy and research experience inform her practical approach to exploring, identifying and mitigating privacy risk.

Prior to joining INQ Consulting, Tamara was at Ontario’s Ministry of Health. Here she was part of the team that developed aspects of the Personal Health Information Protection Act, 2004. Tamara’s interest in data, technology and privacy was sparked during her time clerking for the Supreme Court of the Northwest Territories, and previously, at a plaintiff-side medical malpractice law firm.
