Philippe Sundfeld is Data Protection Officer at Wildlife Studios, a leading mobile game developer and publisher. In this role, Philippe was responsible for the design and development of the global privacy program, and works closely with engineering, product, operations, and trust and safety.



Prior to Wildlife Studios, Philippe was an associate counsel at Baker McKenzie's Brazilian office, Trench Rossi Watabane. He assisted clients in international operations involving data protection and intellectual property laws. 



Philippe holds a Master of Laws at King's College, London, where we graduated summa cum laude. He was awarded the Dickson Poon Prize for Best Dissertation on Intellectual Property and Information Law for the dissertation ‘Zero-rating agreements: trends and lessons from the developed and developing worlds.'



He is an author and co-author of papers on legal developments on data protection in Brazil, including "Building a National IoT Plan: Policy Recommendations and the Case of Brazil", published by Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs' Entrepreneurship & Policy Initiative Working Paper Series; "Information Security and IoT in Brazil: priorities, models and alternatives" and "Net neutrality and IoT in Brazil: an harmonious relationship", published on JOTA.
