About the IAPP

Lisa Nee is the Director of the Legal Department and serves as the general counsel for the Fingerpaint Group, an award-winning, global, healthcare-focused marketing services company that unlocks innovative marketing and specialty solutions to elevate brand awareness amongst healthcare providers, patients, consumers and payors. At Fingerpaint, she balances data protection and compliance for the interest of the public-at-large with enabling innovation and fostering information and access to treatments based on the Fingerpaint Group’s Venture BeyondSM service philosophy.

For over 20 years, Lisa’s career spans across privacy, security, technology and engineering, including roles at Deloitte, Optiv (previously Accuvant), Oracle, Accenture, ResMed and now Fingerpaint. Lisa has built her career around a passion for computer science and analytics, and has received several recognitions including co-authoring on privacy engineering with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the world's largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity.

She graduated from Boston University and earned a law degree from St. John's University School of Law. Lisa has certifications in Cyberseucrity with the International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC2) and HIPAA. Lisa holds the following privacy designations: FIP, CIPT, CIPM, CIPP/E, and CIPP/US.
