Dongyoon Chae
D. Yoon Chae is a senior foreign attorney at Kim & Chang, where he focuses his practice on international IP disputes, arbitration and cross-border litigation, and anti-corruption and corporate compliance matters. Chae also advises multinational corporations and Korean conglomerates on AI, privacy and data security, and other regulatory issues. Prior to joining Kim & Chang, he worked in Baker McKenzie’s Dallas and San Francisco offices as a partner, where he litigated complex IP disputes and advised on patent prosecution, trade secrets, and other IP and technology matters. He was the first law firm Fellow at the World Economic Forum’s Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, where he researched ways to maximize societal benefits from the use of AI.
