Mathilde Tanon, CIPP/E, CIPP/US
Mathilde Tanon is a Data Privacy Manager at The New York Times, where she specializes in turning complex privacy requirements into actionable operational processes for business stakeholders globally. Prior to moving to New York, Mathilde worked in Paris, France, first as an in-house lawyer at a company providing emergency and low-income housing, and then as a privacy consultant, including acting as external Data Protection Officer for various clients.
Mathilde holds Masters of Laws from King's College London (UK) and from Humboldt-Universitat (Germany), as well as a law degree from Pantheon-Assas (France). Mathilde also holds CIPP/E and CIPP/US certifications from the IAPP.
