About the IAPP

Mandy has practiced law for almost 12 years after she graduated from Chicago-Kent College of Law with LLM degree and then from China University of Politics and Law with master’s degree in international law. She started her career first as a public servant in Beijing Haidian District People’s Procuratorate with major responsibilities to investigate and prosecute criminal cases; then in Huawei Technologies as senior legal counsel supporting various business lines, including one year based in Dubai for Consumer Business Group in MEA region.

Her focus has smoothly transitioned to China Cybersecurity Law, Privacy and Data Protection when she joined SAP China Legal Team and then Ant Group Privacy Office, taking the role as legal expert in China Cybersecurity Law and Data Privacy Specialist for domestic and international Fin-tec business. Mandy is now working in Mastercard Privacy and Data Protection team as senior counsel and functioning as Greater China DPO. In addition, she is an active member and fellow of information privacy/FIP in IAPP, as well as certificate holders of CIPP/Asia, CIPP/Europe, CIPP/US, CIPM and CIPT. Mandy has also obtained PRC bar 

certificate.
