Jeannette Gunderson, CIPP/E, CIPM

Jeannette Gunderson is the Chief Privacy Officer Worldpay, overseeing the company’s Privacy and Data Protection Office. She is responsible for leading Worldpay’s Privacy Legal and Operations teams, as well as overseeing its Data Protection Office. She is responsible for overseeing Worldpay’s data protection program, providing commercial legal advice and data protection compliance guidance, as well as centralized controls, capabilities, and governance to all Worldpay’s operations globally. In addition, Jeannette and her team provide legal and risk management advice on cybersecurity, data use and residency, and artificial intelligence throughout Worldpay.
Jeannette joined Worldpay as part of its separation from FIS in February 2024. Prior to her time at FIS, she has held roles at HSBC and Brex managing data risk and privacy operations with an emphasis on maturing data protection and management programs for international financial services companies. Jeannette began her legal career at the US Department of Justice in the then-named Asset Forfeiture and Money Laundering Section before spending four years as Chief of Staff at FinCEN in the Department of the Treasury.
