Marie-Charlotte is currently a Data Protection Counsel at Telefónica Germany. As such she works together with the Data Protection Office and the appointed Data Protection Officer. She has studied law in Munich becoming a certified lawyer in 2014 and finishing her Master of Laws (LL.M.) at the University of Southern California in 2015. Followed by her position as a lawyer working for one of the „Big Four“ and focusing on data protection law advising small, medium and big sized companies in data Marie-Charlotte has 5 years of professional experience as a lawyer.  She has gained extensive practical experience in consulting in GDPR questions on various large-scale projects and has worked intensively as project manager. She is strongly focused on aligning the GDPR to business demand and strategy.  Marie-Charlotte has led national projects for compliance with GDPR planning and designing data protection solutions for several industries.
