PORTSMOUTH, N.H. – 12 October 2023 – The International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), the largest and most comprehensive global information privacy community and resource, announces today the appointment of Ashley Casovan as the first Managing Director of the IAPP AI Governance Center.

“The IAPP has been working tirelessly to raise awareness of the importance AI governance will have for organizations,” said J. Trevor Hughes, president and CEO at IAPP. “We are proud and excited to have Ashley join the IAPP team and spearhead our efforts to support the growing AI governance profession. Her expertise is invaluable, and we can’t wait to get to work.”
