Satnam Purewal is a cybersecurity and privacy professional with extensive experience in IT audits, governance, and security implementation across the insurance, financial, and aerospace industries. She currently leads the digital monitoring program at Costco, ensuring cookies and trackers comply with policies and regulatory requirements—work that directly supports protecting customer trust in a global enterprise.

She serves on the board of the Puget Sound ISACA Chapter, advancing professional education and community engagement in information systems governance and security. Over the course of her career, Satnam has contributed to publications including the Computer Security Handbook and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants’ Information Technology Control Guidelines, reflecting her longstanding commitment to advancing best practices in security, governance, and privacy.

Satnam holds CISSP, CISA, CISM, and CIPT certifications.
