About the IAPP

Laura Goold is an associate in Bird & Bird's Privacy and Data Protection Group, based in London. She advises U.K. and international clients on technology, data protection and privacy issues. Goold's work covers all aspects of data protection law, including advice on DPIAs, privacy and cookie notices, data subject rights (including DSARs), data processing and data sharing agreements, enforcement action, international transfers and data breach incidents. She has assisted clients in a range of sectors, including media and entertainment (with a particular interest in gaming), technology and retail. She has undertaken a client secondment with an international media company headquartered in the U.S.
